PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & USE

Southwind Multicolor Paint special resin-based is extremely durable with excellent chemical and abrasion resistance, washable, elastic, at one time consisted paint many colors of applied with spray. Soutwind Multicolor Paint at interior and exterior facade use easily with unlimited color options, luxurious and special material.

Areas of use: Applied to all surfaces of the construction elements such all plasters smoothly processed coarse plaster, concrete, etc. and used to wood, iron surface.

FLASH POINT

Flash point of this product is 39 degrees Celsius. 

 

COMPOSITION (NOMINAL)

Pigment: Lightfast pigment

Binder:  Alkyd resin

Solvent: Whitespirit

 

SOLIDS – SPECIFIC GRAVITY

Volume Solids % 65 ± 2

Specific Gravity 1.50 ± 0.05 kg/L   (@ 20 °C)

 

SURFACE PREPARATION

The application surfaces should be cleaned from the dirt, oil, dust and all loosen structured swollen layers, the faults on the surface should be removed.

 

APPLICATION

The application surfaces must be clean and dry, such  oil, dirt and dust  must be cleaned. Metal surfaces must be cleaned of all rust and small particles. Shake gently before opening the paint box. When you open the lid, not using a mechanical stirrer, stirring gently with the help of rod or stick to check whether the deposited material. Apply the appropriate color Southwind Multicolor Primer under the Southwind Multicolor Paint. Paint using suitable spray apparatus should be applied with a spray gun. Definitely do not use brush and roller. During the application, hold the gun perpendicular to the surface, 30-40 cm away from the surface.

Paint is ready to use. Do not thin with water or solvent. In practice, the recommended spray nozzle diameter 1.80 mm. It is not recommended to apply under 10°C.Apply using spray gun with compressor air pressure of approximately 30 – 50 psi using the cross-lap method.

Equipment Cleaning: Tools must be cleaned with solvent    immediately after application.

DRYING TIMES (SINGLE COAT, STANDARD THICKNESS)

2-4 hours, 

Touch Dry: 12 hours, 

Fully Dry: 7-14 days

                                   

CLEANING UP

Clean up with soap and water. After cleaning up be sure to flush spray equipment with solvent to prevent rusting following manufacturer’s instructions. Dispose of can in accordance with local authority guidelines.

 

PRECAUTIONS / WARNINGS

Keep out of reach of children. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. If the product comes in contact with the eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water. To remove splashes from skin, use soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Do not take internally. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Dispose of contents to a waste disposal facility in accordance with local/national regulations. Safety data sheet available on request.

 

STORAGE

Keep in a cool, dry place in original packaging without opening the cover. Shelf life is 1 year. Keep from direct sunlight and protect from freezing.
