SURFACE PREPARATION
The application surfaces should be cleaned from the dirt, oil, dust and all loosen structured swollen layers, the faults on the surface should be removed.
APPLICATION
Before application, road must be cleaned from dust, dirt, oil etc… Concrete surfaces, must be cured at least 28 days. During application the maximum concrete moisture should be 5%. Material should be mixed thoroughly before application. According to the method of application thinner might be used. Roller is the most practical and widespread apparatus. When this method is preferred, template usage is strongly recommended for proper line or markings. Especially on motorways which have big lane lines, an airless spray is applied with a special apparatus. This method does not require a template; this application type is very rapid and homogeneous. Application temperature should not be under 5 ° C. Surface temperature must be at least 3 ° C above dew point.
SPREADING RATE
Dry film thickness of 100 microns in one layer 3.2 m²/kg
REDUCTION
For brush or roller applications, maximum 5% of Road Marking Paint Thinner should be used. Application at 60-70 °C, by pistol there is no need to use the paint thinner.
DRYING TIMES (SINGLE COAT, STANDARD THICKNESS)
Touch Dry: 15-20 minutes,
Vehicle and pedestrian traffic can be started after 2-3 hours.
CLEANING UP
Clean up with soap and water. After cleaning up be sure to flush spray equipment with solvent to prevent rusting following manufacturer’s instructions. Dispose the bucket in accordance with local authority guidelines
PRECAUTIONS / WARNINGS
Keep out of reach of children. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. If the product comes in contact with the eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water. To remove splashes from skin, use soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Do not take internally.
STORAGE
The product should be kept in a dry place. Lid should be closed tight when not in use. Not to be exposed to direct sunlight. Stock life is 1 year in original container. Protect from freezing.
