Solvent-Free Epoxy Top Coat Paint

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & USE

Two-component, epoxy based, with high solid substance, resistant against chemical and mechanical factors, bright flooring material. Contains epoxy resin and high quality pigment. All kinds of sheet metal iron on the walls and floor is applied. This product is used especially against acid, salt, detergent contained environments.

 

KEY BENEFITS

• Resistant to dilute acids, dilute and concentrated alkalis, cleaning detergents and disinfectants, mineral, vegetable and animal oils, sweet water and sea water, diesel oil, gasoline, jet fuel. 
• Not resistant to formic acid, acetic acid and high concentrations of acids, phenol.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The application surfaces should be cleaned from the dirt, oil, dust and all loosen structured swollen layers, the faults on the surface should be removed.

 

APPLICATION

1. a) Surface Preparation: Be applied surface must not be certainly moist, old blistered paint must be cleaned thoroughly. Take care of surface being clean and dry. Formed on the surface oil and grease can be cleaned with a special burner.
2. b) Product Preparation: (A) and (B) components ready for mixing is presented. Main Material (A) is mixed, and then Hardener (B) is added to the main material made the homogeneous mixture with low-speed (300-400 rpm) mixed in a blender with 3 minutes. The preparation materials should not be more than the amount during Pot life can be applied

1. c) Application Method: Each floor, the consumption will not stay under of 0.200 Kg / m² the roller or Airless Spray (Airless gun) with several (at least two) times are applied. DRYING TIMES (SINGLE COAT, STANDARD THICKNESS)

 Drying Time: At 20°C 7 day. (During this time, must be

provided coating does not exposed to chemical and excessive mechanical effects.

 

CLEANING UP

Clean up with soap and water. After cleaning up be sure to flush spray equipment with solvent to prevent rusting following manufacturer’s instructions. Dispose of can in accordance with local authority guidelines.

 

PRECAUTIONS / WARNINGS

Keep out of reach of children. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying periods. If the product comes in contact with the eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water. To remove splashes from skin, use soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Do not take internally. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Dispose of contents to a waste disposal facility in accordance with local/national regulations. Safety data sheet available on request.

 

STORAGE

The product should be kept in a dry place. Lid should be closed tight when not in use. Not to be exposed to direct sunlight.  Keep between 10-35 °C original package, approximately 1 year in unopened.
