PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & USE

Alkyd resin based, can be deleted semi-matt is a synthetic finish paint. Gypsum paste, plasterboard, plaster, concrete, bricks, iron construction, wood, etc. inner and outer surfaces of all kinds of structural elements are used as protective and decorative.

COMPOSITION (Nominal)

Pigment: Lightfast pigment

Binder: Alkyd resin

Solvent: White spirit

 

SOLIDS – SPECIFIC GRAVITY

Volume Solids 68 ± 5    

Specific Gravity at 20 °C, 1.3 ± 0.05 kg/L

 

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface will be applied; paste, synthetic cake or satin gypsum procceses was made and must be dry, non-dust and clean. Paint application should not be on non-dry surface absolutely. Surface defects should be corrected by using the appropriate sealant Very thin layer Southwind Synthetic Primer must be applied to Reduce paint consumption on Satin gypsum surfaces 

and gypsum powder to absorb. After in case of two layers, Semi-matte Southwind Coat Paint maybe applied. Surface bloated, loose form of the old paint scratched the must be removed from the surface and All surfaces should be sanding. To resolve their differences on the surface level local putty should make. Application surface must be dry.

 

APPLICATION

Depending on surface conditions on metal surfaces 1 layer Southwind Anticorrosion, on wood and concrete surfaces 1 layer synthetic prime should apply. The old paint genus is not known that a thin layer Southwind Synthetic Primer is recommended to apply. After Appropriate primer application to on the surface is expected 12 hours. Wait 24 hours between 2 layers when application by roll brush. During the application of surface and ambient temperatures between +5 º C to +30 º C should be attention. Mix thoroughly the paint before use and paint not to be mixed with another paint brand.

 

SPREADING RATE

At one layer 18- 22 m²/L area (depending on ground and shape of application)

 

REDUCTION

Thin by synthetic thinner at rate of 10-15 %.

 

DRYING TIMES (SINGLE COAT, STANDARD THICKNESS)

Touch Dry                   At 20 °C, 3 hours

Hold Dust                   5-7 hours

Drying of Hardening     26 hours

This is dependent upon temperature and humidity. 

 

CLEANING UP

Clean up with soap and water. After cleaning up be sure to flush spray equipment with solvent to prevent rusting following manufacturer’s instructions. Dispose of can in accordance with local authority guidelines.

 

PRECAUTIONS / WARNINGS

Keep out of reach of children. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. If the product comes in contact with the eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water. To remove splashes from skin, use soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Do not take internally.

 

STORAGE

 The product should be kept in a dry place. Lid should be closed   tight when not in use. Not to be exposed to direct sunlight. Stock life is 1 year in original container. Protect from freezing.
